Merry Christmas everyone! Hope everyone has a wonderful and joyful Christmas season.
Merry Christmas everyone! Hope everyone has a wonderful and joyful Christmas season.
Alrighty folks – here we are at CHRISTMAS EVE. Our famous red-suited friend Santa Claus will be visiting here shortly. He always knows when we’re sleeping so that he puts the presents under the tree. We just have to remember to leave out the milk and cookies for him (for those in the cannabis community, pot cookies would DEFINITELY work just as well).
Whether you’re giving Santa the tradition order or adding ingredients that would give him the munchies, we all prepare the same way for Santa’s arrival. We have been waiting mere weeks (practically MONTHS) for what we wanted for Christmas this year and the countdown is finally coming to an end. You can expect Santa to be here very shortly.
And you know, Santa is REAL – a special kind of real. Santa Claus is that one joyous fictional character that we talk about every year. His unique characteristics shows through his daily tasks such as delivering presents and spreading Christmas joy among the people. Its those personality traits, being this big jolly man delivering presents all across nations, where those ideas spread among the community. He becomes real because we WANT to keep him real.
No matter old you are, Santa Claus will always pop into your mind during Christmas. He is the most talked about character during the later months of the year. As a matter of fact, Santa’s buzz soars higher than most holidays during the year (including Thanksgiving!). Santa’s cheerful spirit keeps us joyful for the new year.
Days after Christmas and the new year will already be coming. Christmas acts as a joyous time preparing for the new changes happening in the near future. 2019 is approaching very soon, so now will be the time to celebrate some of the best things soon to happen.
With that, time to be ready for Santa Claus’s arrival. He’s already checked his list and he will be swinging by with all the presents. Here’s to hoping we all receive wonderful gifts we asked for earlier. In the meantime, be ready to celebrate the joyous gift of what’s to come in the new year.
As of right now, it has been exactly ONE month since recreational cannabis shops opened in Massachusetts. Thousands upon thousands of customers have been lining up around the doors in the two shops. Various cannabis products are being sold like hot cakes. With another shop opening in Salem, the competition just got even bigger. One thing is for certain – so much change has happened ever since the shops opened in Leicester and Northampton back on November 20th.
Its at this stage that we now start discussing the burning question that has been on lots of people’s mind. The question is this – just how much sales have been generated in just one month here in Massachusetts?
On this day, one month after Cultivate and NETA officially went recreational, the dispensaries made a combined total of over $7 million.
Over $7 million in sales, generated in just ONE month within the state of Massachusetts, from two dispensaries alone. Remember that NONE of these dispensaries are close to the city of Boston. They are mere miles away from Boston, yet they have already been off to a great start. You can certainly say that Christmas came early for Massachusetts this year.
That latest figure is a REAL number. Just like over $2.2 million in one week is a real number as well. If this keeps up, Massachusetts will be generating over $80 million in sales (which will climb to over HUNDREDS of millions once the dispensaries hit Boston!).
One month later and the PR miracle still reigns on for the recreational industry. However, one industry’s PR miracle is also another industry’s PR nightmare. With the recreational industry generating lots of buzz, the medical community is finding itself in a state of panic. Audiences of the medical industry are scrambling, anxious of the sweeping changes that are quickly happening within Massachusetts. As more shops become established in various neighborhoods, the wind is blowing towards recreational cannabis.
At this point, you have to wonder – what does all this mean for the medical cannabis industry? What hidden tactics can be utilized to salvage itself from going completely under? Would there be any desire for a so-called ‘medical card’ to get access to cannabis in the next five years? Or better yet, how about ten years?
All that can be said is this – 2019 is looking to be an EXTREMELY interesting year for the cannabis industry. Lots of changes have been taking place around Massachusetts and many are already left scrambling.
Recreational cannabis is here, providing a whole new way of doing business within the 4/20 community. Not only is this industry crossing over with other businesses, but its already influencing other subcultures as well (LGBTQ, feminism, just to name a few).
Brace yourselves, folks – we are starting to dig out the gold that we have lying around us here in Massachusetts.
Christmas TV series and movies have been all around the networks lately. With Christmas coming in less than a week, its only fitting that all of these classic titles be put on full blast. Rudolph, Frosty, The Grinch, Jack Frost, and even Santa Claus have all been on everyone’s mind lately.
But there’s one special category of Christmas movies that many people love. These films feature somewhat familiar actors and they’re story lines are almost cheesier than a porno. I’m talking about… the Hallmark Holiday Movies.
Every holiday season, Hallmark’s schedule is filled with Christmas movies. These feel-good films feature soapy drama that quickly gets solved overtime. In this crazy digital age that we live in, its always nice to cozy up to a good Hallmark Holiday movie.
Personally, these Hallmark movies really aren’t for me. I find them cheesy, mundane, and just plain unexciting. These films provide me as much excitement as accounting.
Even still, I manage to find various clichés in many of these Hallmark Holiday films. Many sets of movies contain the same element within each title. Some were noticeable while others take a while to find out.
With that, here are the many clichés I discovered throughout the years:
Hallmark Holiday Movie Clichés
And there you have it – a few of many clichés from the Hallmark Holiday films. They are cheesy, trite, and provide a low level of action each time. If PG-rated Christmas-themed romance is what you are looking for, the Hallmark channel has them all ready this month.
Next time you have a day off of work, be sure to check out a Hallmark Holiday movie. You’ll be sure to learn about a high-level executive who finds her new love life in her small town AND save her family’s business from going under; all this while being tangled in her complex love triangle with a new flame, only to find out the TRUE meaning of Christmas in the end.
A lot of times, people purchase cooking products or services for Christmas gift ideas. Whether it’s a new set of pans or that Omaha Steaks gift package, you can’t go wrong with anything that has to do with food. This is the season of giving, which does include food and drinks as well (and yes, alcohol is INDEED included in this category).
With cannabis becoming more legal around America, 4/20-themed gifts have become hotter than ever. Various flowers, edibles, tinctures, and other cannabis products are being put into stockings this year. Why go for the Omaha Steaks deal when you can send someone a pot brownie or peanut butter that is full of both THC and CBD. The possibilities are endless when cannabis is added to the mix.
In some cases, it doesn’t always have the food product themselves. Many people still purchase cookbooks (which are STILL a thing these days!) to learn how to cook certain meals. In fact, there is one special cookbook that was created by one of the original rappers Snoop Doggy Dog.
Snoop Dogg recently released his own cookbook titled From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dogg’s Kitchen. Snoop’s cookbook shares over fifty of his own recipes. From ‘Billionaire’s Bacon’ to ‘OG Chicken and Waffles’, Snoop’s cookbook features something for all types of chefs. Fo’ shizzle my nizzle, ya’ll!
While many of these recipes seem to satisfy those stoner-friendly munchies, you won’t find any 4/20 treats in here. From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dogg’s Kitchen will help train chefs to cook like the OG stoner himself Snoop Doggy Dog.
This is the perfect stocking stuffer for both cooks and hip-hop enthusiasts alike. Snoop Dog’s cookbook showcases his culinary experiences to satisfies those munchies. From mac n cheese to party snacks, every kind food is featured in this cookbook.
Even if your cooking friend or family member isn’t the biggest fan of hip-hop, they’ll certainly enjoy Snoop Dogg’s take on traditional meals. If you’re poking around the bookstore or shifting through gift ideas on Amazon, definitely add Snoop Dogg’s From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dogg’s Kitchen onto your list.
