The only thing more exciting about waiting for the next season of American Horror Story is seeing the cast of characters who are returning or joining the show. Every season brings in new actors/actresses who become a part this popular horror series. Some play the good guys while others play bizarre, creepy villains.
In this final week of February, the new cast listing was recently announced. One of the big surprises announced was none other than Macaulay Culkin.
Yes folks – Macaulay Culkin will be appearing in American Horror Story this year. The Home Alone star will join AHS veterans Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, and Kathy Bates for the next chapter. Other casts returning include Leslie Grossman, Adina Porter, Billie Lourd, Finn Wittrock, and Angelica Ross.
Macaulay Culkin is most famous for starring in Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Some of his other film credits include The Pagemaster, My Girl, The Good Sun, Getting Even with Dad, Richie Rich, and The Nutcracker.
This new cast list got even more exciting with Macaulay Culkin joining the team. There has been some shocking names that have been dropped (Matt Bomer, Stevie Nicks) and this year certainly takes the cake.
With that, it’s time to welcome Macaulay Culkin into next chapter of the American Horror Story.
Even in the days of legal cannabis sweeping the nation, the NFL is still against pot use among players. Players who use cannabis, even when it heals many of their physical injuries, can still risk suspension for a few days. What’s even more preposterous is that the Super Bowl continues to omit cannabis as part of their famous ads.
In this new decade we have various players admitting to using cannabis during their off season. Famous athletes like Rob Gronkowski are getting off the stadium grass and heading towards the CBD grass. Gronkowski is one of many who are advocating for cannabis use in the NFL.
And that’s when something HUGE just came around this year.
A proposed agreement from team owners would no longer suspend players who test positive for cannabis use. This new policy would also reduce the number of players called in for testing. Besides that, the plan would narrow the window for when tests can be administered from four months to two weeks at the beginning of training camp.
Cannabis has been growing even stronger as an industry. It’s soaring in popularity, even HIGHER than the NFL. With more and more NFL stars admitting to toking up off the field, the NFL is slowly swaying into a more liberal policy towards cannabis.
The proposal won’t be decided until the end of the week. Whatever decision goes through, one thing will be for certain – This could be the start of something absolutely life-changing for both the cannabis industry and the NFL.
Throughout the month of January and February I have been dealing with a bit of the winter blues. Cold temperatures as well as a lack of sunshine can really do a number on my body each year. After being used to the warm months, its hard getting through the beginning of the year (both physically and mentally).
To combat such blues, I looked into healthy lifestyle ideas. I worked out, ate healthier foods, cut back on sugars, and even quit caffeine. One intriguing thing I got into were health gummies, particularly from products such as Nature’s Bounty Vitamin D3 and Olly Extra Strength Sleep.
Nature’s Bounty Vitamin D3 Gummies contain colored gummies high in vitamin D3. They come in flavors including strawberry, orange, and lemon. Each pair of gummies contains 50 mcg or 2,000 IU of Vitamin D3. These gummies are great for increasing your Vitamin D3 levels during the cold, sunless days.
After taking the vitamin D3 gummies for a while, I became interested in other health gummy products. That’s when I later got a jar of Olly Extra Strength Sleep gummies. These gummies come packed with Melatonin, L-Theanine, and other botanicals. Each of the gummies taste of blackberries with a hint of mint. You simply take two of these gummies (containing a total of 5 mg of melatonin) a half hour before bedtime. Soon enough, the blackberry gummies will help you go right to sleep.
Gummies are a healthy and playful way when it comes to self-care during the winter months. The Nature’s Bounty Vitamin D3 Gummies will provide you that boost of Vitamin D3 during the day. Once the day is over, those Olly Extra Strength Sleep gummies will help lull you to sleep.
If you’re looking for either more vitamins or more sleep in your life, look into health gummies this winter.
Ok folks… LAST week of February starts now. That can only mean two things – winter is ending soon (FINALLY!) and Animal Crossing: New Horizons is soon dropping for the Nintendo Switch. Animal Crossing: New Horizons will have tons of amazing features to play through on your dream getaway island.
Just a few days ago, a new Nintendo Direct video dropped on YouTube. The video featured even MORE surprising details about Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Here were some of the top shocking elements Animal Crossing: New Horizons has to offer:
Smartphone (With Apps!)
In the beginning of the game, you will receive the NookPhone, a nifty smartphone that contains lots of apps. There’s an app for an in-game map and one that collects your crafting recipes. But the most notable one is the Nook Miles.
Progression System Update
Nook Miles ties into the next highlight about the new progression system in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Players can progress throughout the game through gathering Nook Miles by completing various quests. When you finish a quest (catch a certain number of fish, collect twigs), you will earn miles that can pay off your travel package.
Hello Old Friends
Many old friends from the previous Animal Crossing series will be returning for the island getaway. For one, Isabelle will be in the game (once players unlock the resident services office). Other familiar characters that are coming back include Gulliver, Kicks, The Able Sisters, and others.
Multi-Player Island Party
Animal Crossing: New Horizons allows for multi-player options, gathering more people in for your party. Up to eight people can have characters on the same Switch. They all live on the same island, receiving their own tent/house.
Another multi-player option is the four-player “party” mode where four players run around the same island at the same time.
Players can talk with other friends through text and voice chat. Just download the Nintendo Switch Online app in order to use the voice/text feature. It will also allow you to scan your QR codes to import pattern designs from previous Animal Crossing games.
Customize the WHOLE Island
During the game, you have LOADS of option on how you customize your island (more than just pulling weeds or chopping trees!). You will be able to demolish cliffs, create pathways across rivers, and even build bridges and stairs. It’s like a little part of Minecraft mixed into the game.
Nintendo may not have mentioned any expansions or paid DLC, but there are multiple free updates coming in the future. These will primarily fall around seasonal events. The first update will be out on launch day (March 20th).
At one point, there was a quick glimpse of how different your island will look at night. During the night, players can encounter what looked like a ghost. In actuality, the ghost is a “wisp” in the island.
